Use of ABN Lookup

What we use it for

ArchetypeIntel is an independent investigations application. ABN Lookup web services are used only to validate Australian organisation identity (ABN, ACN or name) and to show relevant extracts to a user. Extracts are labelled as observations from the Australian Business Register. They are not merged into a single identity without a separate resolution step.

What we do not do

• We do not update ABN details or apply for an ABN through these services.
• We do not represent or imply that the Commonwealth, ATO, ASIC or ABR endorses, approves or is affiliated with ArchetypeIntel.
• We do not use ABN Lookup as a credit file, KYC/AML product or identity clearance.
• We do not treat a missing ABR hit as proof that a party does not exist.

Attribution and withdrawal

ABR extracts are attributed to the Australian Business Register. The service is used on an as-is, as-available basis under the ABN Lookup Web Services Agreement. If ABR notifies that specific information has been withdrawn, copies under our control will be deleted.
